The owners wanted a home that felt calm in daylight and intimate after sunset — with the skyline present, but never competing with the room.
We began by reducing the palette to limestone, walnut, linen and a single grounded olive. Full-height sheers soften the Gulf light; recessed blackout layers disappear into coordinated gypsum pockets. The ceiling curves guide movement through the open plan and conceal a warm ambient lighting system.
A sculptural sofa anchors the living zone without blocking circulation. Bespoke walnut joinery adds storage and a darker rhythm, while bronze accents catch the evening light in controlled moments.
Four materials. One quiet rhythm.
Honed limestone holds daylight softly. Dark walnut defines depth. Linen filters the view. Olive bouclé gives the room a grounded focal point without adding visual noise.
